Design Principles
In our country, the quality of life of people over a certain age decreases due to the impact of socio-economic conditions. People in this population structure, which is defined as the elderly in short, may not be able to meet their basic needs such as health, housing and social life sufficiently. Along with personal reasons, changes in social and family structure are also factors in the formation of this situation. Increasing peace, serenity and the desire for a healthy life are becoming increasingly difficult conditions for people over a certain age, especially in the metropolitan areas. Population increasing with migration; aggravating economic problems, housing, transportation, health, security problems. While people cannot find rest areas and green spaces to breathe, intense stressed life, distorted structures and noisy environments can make life unbearable. People who have maintained such a lifestyle for a lifetime at least want to lead a comfortable, peaceful and healthy life in their retirement.
Furthermore, generation conflicts and the different perception styles of the young population often make it difficult for older people and young people to live together, so older people want to be with their age group. In our country, within the framework of the above-mentioned conditions, there are no comprehensive facilities for people over a certain age. Within the scope of the proposal zoning plan, it is planned to build a recreation and care center for people over a certain age. This social facility, which will be compatible with nature, will have large green areas, parks, gardens, walking paths and sports fields. There will also be hobby gardens where people can spend their time and grow vegetables, fruits and ornamental plants.
